ROMA Categories

From ROMA Scribae

Jump to: navigation, search

The wiki software allows us to place documents in categories simply by including a special tag in the document. This is quite useful as an organizational technique, since you can look at a list of all categories, and all documents within a category, quite easily. For example, the Scribae category tag for this document looks like this:

[[Category:Scribae]]

By convention the tag goes at the end of the document. A document can have as many categories as makes sense.

Current Categories

This current list is a work in progress.

There should be at least a tag for each sanctioned ROMA group. For the sake of simplicity, the category name should match the spelling and capitalization of the in-world group name.

  • ROMA (for anything not necessarily part of a group)
  • Building for ROMA's many and changing architectural wonders
  • College of Priests
  • Entertainers
  • Green
  • LEGIO
  • LVDI ROMANI
  • LGBT & Amici
  • Scholiastica Antiqua
  • Scribae (mostly for Scribae internal business)
    • Acta ROMA (for the newsletter group)
  • Senate (especially for Senate meeting notes)

The year of an event: [[Category:2009]]

What about family RP groups?

Larger SL issues of course impinge on ROMA.

  • SL Policy Changes (openspace, the coming red-light district)
  • SL Fiscal (with the world economy, and SL purchases)
  • SL Technical (major outages and nerfage, etc)
  • SL Culture (SL-wide controversies or conventions)
  • ROMA-Rome interface - how ancient Rome is interpreted in ROMA (both social and technical aspects)

Possible categories:

  • parasitism (sims that mooch off ROMA ideas/people)
  • territory (when ROMA grows, or restructures its SIMs)
  • fiscal (just ROMA's issues)
  • festivals
