Mainland ROMA in the Linda sim
From around December 2005 to October 15 2006, ROMA inhabited about a 1/4 sim plot on the mainland Linda sim. There was no land, as it was an ocean sim, so ROMA inhabited a large platform with a chariot racetrack below on the sea floor. The prototype Theater of Dionysus and the Humanism Garden floated above on sky platforms.

Buildings
- Roman Market - Originally just a single booth on the docks, it eventually became a three story reproduction of Trajan's Market. All stalls sold items made by Torin. Eventually one free clothing vendor from another merchant was hosted.
- Docks - At first, a welcome platform sat at the edge of the plot. Eventually, a larger welcome area was made at the edge of a dock. It had a teleport hub.
- Pompeii Tavern - With a river view and a large common room. Upstairs doors could be locked, and there was an open air patio on the roof. At one point, the upper rooms were taken over by Torin and enlarged into a private house.
- The Gardens of Maecenas - A small open space in the center of the plot landscaped. There was a waterfall and some hidden sculptures. Below the garden was an entrance to the underworld fronted by a sign quoting the "descent to Avernus" quote from the Aeneid in Latin and English. The entrance led to two underground chambers, one based on the sibyl's cave at Cumae and another housing a cut out of Hades surrounded by red particles.
- Theater of Pompey - An auditorium space with a curved dome.
- Basilica - A colonnaded hall that was mainly just the interior of a podium.
- Temple of Hadrian / Hadrian's Mausoleum - Originally, there was a small reconstruction of the Mausoleum of Hadrian in Rome. It was possible to teleport into the inside of the chamber which held cutout images of Hadrian and Antinous. Eventually, it was moved and changed into a temple to Hadrian with a smaller mausoleum chamber inside the podium. The sarcophagus made music when the lid was opened to expose the burial urn.
- Capitoline Museum - Inside the podium of the Temple of Jupiter was a small museum with cutouts of Roman art.
- Temple of Jupiter - A tall temple housing a cutout of a Jupiter statue surrounded by particles. For a time it housed an 'offering crate'. The pediment was hollow and for a time housed a simple model of ROMA.
- Curia - At one point there was a a large throne room for Torin shaped like the Curia in Rome.
- Library of Alexandria - An Egyptian themed small building housing freebie texts.
- Baths of Caracalla - A three chambered bath complex with adapted tubs.
- Gladiator Arena - It had underground chambers.
- Colossus - One prim, it always stood at the edge of the plot in the southwest corner of the sim.
- Circus Maximus - Underwater and under the platform all builds sat atop, there was a racetrack made with land tools.
- Tiber River - The platform had a river cut in it that could be sailed on with free boats.
- Theater of Dionysus - Floating above the build high in the sky was an enclosed room made into a small theater. It had the automated version of The Bacchae from early on.
- The Indiana Jones Exhibit - Floating in the sky, Torin built a small replica of the temple at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark. At the end, when a visitor touched the idol, a large physics-enabled boulder fell down and ran them over.
- SL Humanism Garden - Floated above the build with signs, texts, meeting area, and 'star room.'
