- How and when did you find ROMA?
I found Roma while I was looking for a place to market my Lorica Segmentata back in October of 2006. At the time, Roma was only a portion of a mainland sim and was called "The Roma Experience."
- What attracted you to ROMA? What made you come back?
I was attracted to Roma for the potential as a place to market my armor and also to meet like-minded people who were also Roman enthusiasts. As far as what made me come back... I never left. :3
- What do you do when you’re in ROMA?
When in Roma I like to socialize with other Roma residents and visitors. I don't spend as much time as I used to, admittedly, but back in the day I loved showing people around the sim and showing off my armor. Nowadays I pretty much walk around in my fancy Senator outfit and do my best to look important.
- How would you describe the ROMA Community?
The Roma community is a robust collection of Roman enthusiasts ranging from the casual roleplayer to the hardcore military recreationists. At the core of our community is a solid group of dedicated regulars who tirelessly strive to keep interest alive and promote events to keep people coming back while providing incentive for newcomers to visit and join the group.
- How do you describe ROMA to your friends and family outside of SL?
I describe Roma as my home on Second Life. I enjoy showing people around more than just telling them about it. In fact, I have been approached by many people who ask me about Roma and I typically just tell them to go see for themselves.
- What is your favorite spot in the ROMA Estate?
Truth be told I don't really have a favorite spot in the Estate. I could speculate that my favorite spot is my home, but that isn't true because I don't spend much time there. I used to say my favorite spot was the cave underneath the Forum where the trireme used to be, but that's been moved to Transtiberim. So I will say that my favorite spot in Roma is, or rather, will be the next place I hide during the next game of hide-and-go-seek. You won't find me without your radar, I promise. :P
- Do you use SL and ROMA for socializing, roleplay, or something different?
Pretty much just socializing. I used to be big into the RP, but I'm more interested in getting to know people and having a good time with friends.
- What will ROMA and Second Life look like five years from now? (2015)
Hell if I know... but at it's current rate of expansion the only limit is how much time Torin decides to invest into building.
- Anything else you would like to add?
Nope.
