January 1 — ROMA celebrates the New Year in many time zones with a party in the ROMA Basilica. Angelia organizes most of this with assistance from other managers and volunteers, as Torin is on the road.
January 2 — Zelda Walpole graduates to Discipula in the Collegium on her 4th Rez Day.
January 5 — The Acta ROMA is published.
January 8-9 — Because of delinquent payments, ROMA is forced to foreclose on the ROMA Atalante island and the Neptune Temple in ROMA Maritima, both owned by MajorMatt Matfield and Ludovik Cazenove. Both properties are cleared.
January 9 — Ragark builds a new harbor for the Ostia settlement and Torin moves the Maritima Boat Docks to the northwest corner of the sim.
January 14 — Ave Weekend party in the ROMA Hot Springs.
January 15 — First day of the Paganalia Festival 11
January 16 — Second day of the Paganalia Festival 11
January 18-19 — The legion sets up horse training course in the Fort.
"From the last cavalry training there is still a little jumping parcours built up at our Legion's Fort. Everybody who wants to try his/her horse jumping skills is invited to use it. It will stay for the next few days. The obstacles can be reset by a click when fallen down. Have fun and dont break your bones!"
January 20 — Torin takes part in a Project Skylight (SL in a web browser) meeting with the Lindens.
January 21 — ROMA Atalante sim changes its name to ROMA Diania as Tonina Rodenberger takes over ownership of the sim.

April 29 — The April Curiate Meeting is canceled because of the lateness of the festival schedule and Easter.

May 2 — The ROMA LUDI ROMANI starts weekly chariot races for trophies in the circus.
May 3 — The ROMA Classis Nautica has its first practice in the Portus Ostiae.
